SleepEasy 6-Week Program

If you’ve been struggling with persistent or complex sleep issues, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate this on your own. We have developed the SleepEasy program which is designed to provide a deeply personalized, clinically grounded path to sustainable sleep. Combining leading-edge somatic and neurophysiological strategies with real-time guidance and support, it offers more than just techniques—it combines expert guidance with compassionate support, so you resolve your sleep difficulties and sleep well.

Six weekly 1:1 Zoom sessions 

Sessions are with Richard Shane, PhD, developer of the SleepEasy method.

In these  45-minute clinical sessions, we’ll conduct ongoing assessment of your sleep patterns, autonomic state, cognitive/behavioral contributors, and neurophysiological barriers to sleep. Each session is designed to address both upstream and downstream factors influencing your sleep. Designed specifically for people navigating chronic or complex sleep disruptions. 

A personalized treatment plan 

Your plan will integrate advanced somatic sleep strategies, nervous system regulation techniques, and—if applicable—non-pharmacological interventions informed by my unique experience with sleep supplements. 

This program will give you a way to reduce and eliminate the need for sleep medication—without withdrawal.

If you use a CPAP device, this program will give you ways to be more comfortable with it.

Lifetime access to the SleepEasy app 

The SleepEasy app was chosen (from an evaluation process involving 16 sleep apps) to be a central therapeutic component in a clinical study designed to develop a sleep program for the Department of Defense to address the catastrophic consequences of sleep deprivation in the US Military—including deaths due to sleep-deprived operators. 

You receive a lifetime subscription to the SleepEasy app which is used throughout the program and beyond. The app acts as an adjunct therapeutic tool, providing daily reinforcement through structured sleep protocols, guided somatic and cognitive practices, and tailored prompts. It also allows us to track changes in sleep onset latency, wake time variability, and nervous system reactivity throughout the six weeks. 

Continuous clinical feedback and adjustment 

Because this program is not a one-size-fits-all approach, we’ll adapt your plan in real time based on how your system is responding. The program is designed to address your unique sleep challenges and evolve with you. The combination of structured guidance, nervous system regulation tools, and real-time progress tracking helps restore natural sleep in a sustainable way. 

During our sessions, you’ll share your progress and any challenges you’re facing, and I’ll provide precise, personalized refinements to help you sleep more easily and deeply. This kind of structured, supported process often enables clients to shift from temporary coping methods to true, long-term sleep restoration. Most importantly, please know this: your body and mind can relearn how to sleep. There is a clear, science-based path forward—and I’m here to help guide you every step of the way.

The cost of the six-week program is $1,000, with $500 due before the first session and the remaining $500 after the third session. Payments can be made via PayPal, credit card, or HSA debit card.

Although insurance does not currently cover this program, it qualifies as a reimbursable health expense through an HSA account.
